The Program (Ages 8–12)

Guided Financial Learning for Youth

Financial Literacy Prep is an age-appropriate, guided financial learning program designed for youth ages 8–12. The program introduces early financial awareness, responsibility, and thoughtful decision-making through discussion-based learning and interactive activities.

The goal of the program is not to teach complex financial concepts, but to help youth build confidence, awareness, and positive habits that support lifelong learning.

Program Overview

  • Target Age Group: Youth ages 8–12

  • Program Length: 8 weeks

  • Session Length: 60–90 minutes

  • Delivery Format: In-person, guided sessions

  • Location: Delivered onsite through partner organizations

The program is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing youth enrichment, after-school, or community programming.

Learning Approach

Financial Literacy Prep uses a guided and interactive learning model, meaning sessions are facilitator-led but discussion-driven. Youth are encouraged to participate, reflect, and engage at their own pace.

This approach ensures the material is accessible, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
